Fast440 is pleased to offer this 1978 pontiac trans am equipped with a muncie m-21 factory 4-speed and ws6 performance package. This extremely well preserved example is low mileage and texas solid with no rust issues and no rust repair whatsoever. Numbers matching engine and transmission, and all original with the exception of a high quality clear-coat paint work and decal kit. Straight body panels when looking down both sides of the car, and good body panel fit. Interior is 100 % factory original with a few very minor flaws. Some professional upholstery dye work would really take it to the next level. All soft products such as t-top and door seals are original and in great shape. Obviously a garage kept example. The engine runs strong, transmission shifts with authority with all good synchros, brakes and suspension all good. Time for a carburetor rebuild and some minor exhaust work. All electricals function as they should with the exception of the clock. Engine bay and undercarriage are untouched since the day it left the assembly line. Rare to see a trans am with well preserved and mostly original attributes. From a collector standpoint, the 4-speed and ws6 handling package makes this trans am very attractive indeed.
